As Leyli Art Association, we believe in the power of art as a universal language that can build bridges between communities. In line with this belief, our “Basic Acting Workshop” is open to anyone interested in art and theater. This workshop offers a comprehensive training program that allows participants to take their first steps into the world of theater and discover their acting skills.

Content:

The workshop covers various topics that form the basic principles of theater:

Introduction to theater, the Stanislavski Method and other acting techniques
Gestures, mimics, body language and voice techniques
Improvisation exercises, monologue and dramaturgy training
Theater playwriting techniques and stage practices

The program aims to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience to enhance their skills.

Objectives and Goals:

The aim of the Basic Acting Workshop is to provide participants with fundamental knowledge of theater, develop creative thinking skills and boost their self-confidence. The workshop aims to help people of all ages explore artistic expression and improve their acting abilities. At the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to transform what they have learned into a real performance by staging a theater play together.

About the Facilitator: Nuray Sezen

The facilitator of our workshop, Nuray Sezen, has completed the Creative Drama Instructor Training Program at Istanbul University and continues her education in the Radio and Television Programming Department at Atatürk University. She has performed in various private theaters, staged her own plays and has had her writings published in cultural, artistic, and literary magazines. With her experience, our facilitator will guide participants in discovering their passion for theater and enhancing their talents.
