At Leyli Sanat Derneği, we organize the “Books and Their Reflections in Cinema” event series to create a platform that brings together literature and cinema. In these events, held once a month, we examine both the book and its film adaptation, engaging in in-depth discussions.
We gather on a specific day each month to analyze the book and its film adaptation with the help of volunteer facilitators. Participants share their views on the theme, characters, narrative style, and the success of the adaptation. These gatherings, attended by participants from various professions and age groups, provide a rich exchange of ideas.
Our events are held alternately in person and online. Participants are encouraged to review the book and film in advance for more active participation. In-person events are generally held at our venues in Kadıköy, while online events are conducted via Google Meet.
Through this event series, we aim to create a rich discussion environment at the intersection of cinema and literature, where different ideas can meet. We encourage participants to engage in in-depth analyses, drawing on their reading and viewing experiences.
To participate in our events, you can fill out the application form on our website. For future event dates and detailed information, please visit the Leyli Sanat Derneği website and follow our latest announcements on social media.
We look forward to your participation—let’s explore cinema and literature together!
