At Leyli Sanat Derneği, we offer a Songwriting Workshop for participants interested in music and songwriting, providing an opportunity to enhance their artistic creativity and technical knowledge. Facilitated by our member İbrahim Akgün, this workshop aims to teach participants the processes of making music and the basic techniques, enabling them to create their own compositions.

The Songwriting Workshop is designed for participants who have a sense of music and rhythm, want to turn their poems into songs, or want to transform the melody in their mind into a song without using instruments or notes. During the workshop, participants learn about measuring rhythm, tone and voice, determining syllable count, the melodic structure of words, and setting music to rhythm. Additionally, they practice these skills through exercises like analyzing works and identifying melodic structures.

Our workshops are usually held at the Kadıköy office of Leyli Sanat Derneği and are repeated at regular intervals. Participants have the opportunity to improve their theoretical knowledge while also gaining practical experience. The workshop is open to everyone but has limited capacity.
